  • DAY 1: &Arrive in Maun - Transfer to Khwai, Moremi Game Reserve

    Upon arrival at Maun Airport, your John Chase Safaris host/guide will meet you and escort you to your transfer vehicle to begin your journey to Khwai. Part of the journey is inside the national park, making it more of a game drive than a transfer! Three nights of luxury mobile camping in an exclusive unfenced campsite awaits.

    Arrive at your private camp, setup and ready for you to get comfortable and relax. Unfenced and open to the wild, the BOGA sites used are reserved for safari operators, ensuring an exclusive experience. Tents are spacious Meru-style canvas structures with en suite bush bathrooms, bucket showers, and pit latrines.

    A campfire is lit and a scrumptious 3-course dinner is prepared over an open fire and served at the table in the dining tent, accompanied by a variety of beverages and good conversation. After dinner, retire to your luxury tent and fall asleep under the African skies.  

  • DAY 2: &Early morning game drive - Afternoon game drive with sundowners

    After a comfortable night under canvas, you will receive a 05h30 wake up call with warm water wash basins outside your tent and the smell of coffee from the dining tent.

    Enjoy a light breakfast of freshly baked muffins, cereal, toast, fruit and yoghurt around the laid table and discuss what wild sounds were heard during the night.
    After breakfast, depart for morning game drive in the spectacular Khwai region of Moremi.

    After a 3-4 hour game drive, you will return to camp to freshen up before brunch. Your tents will have been tidied and prepared for your return. Brunch is then served at the dining table with all sorts of refreshments on offer. Afterwards, spend your afternoon relaxing around camp before having a light tea and departing on afternoon game drive at around 16h00.

    Return to camp after a fantastic safari and sundowners in a scenic spot in the bush. An insipred 3-course menu is cooked over an open fire and served to you at the dinner table, after which you are welcome to sit around the campfire and relax.

  • DAY 3: &Early morning game drive - Afternoon game drive with sundowners

    Wake up to your second morning in Moremi after a night in the wild. Another early start to have breakfast before heading out on game drive, today follows a similar pattern to yesterday allowing for 2 game drives, and time for a siesta in between tasty meals. The day ends with conversation around the campfire, bellies full of home cooked food and another night in your luxury tent to look forward to.

  • DAY 4: & Transfer toGhoha Hills Savuti Lodge - Sunset gamedrive around Ghoha Hills

    This morning brings a change of scenery as you further discover the magic of Botswana on this luxury mobile safari. Wake up, enjoy a tasty breakfast, paired with coffee and fruit juices while your bags are packed into the game viewer ready to take you off to Ghoha Hills. Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge located in a prestigious position overlooking a private waterhole and views of the Savute in the distance. Luxury lodge accommodation, delicious food, and relaxation await.
    Activities at Ghoha Hills include full day trips into the Savute Marsh, picnic lunches en route in scenic areas; and sunset game drives around Ghoha Hills, which lead you to ancient baobab trees, and a private waterhole. Daily schedule will follow that of Ghoha Hills tradition.

  • DAY 5: &Day trip to the Savute Marsh

    Ghoha Hills guides will wake you up at your luxury tented suites and you will enjoy breakfast at the lodge while the game viewer is prepared with refreshements and a picnic lunch for a day out in the famous Savute Marsh.

    After breakfast, board the game viewer and enjoy a day spent out in one of Botswana’s most sought after wildlife destinations, stopping for coffee and, later, lunch, before heading back to the lodge in time for high tea at about 15h00 (depending on sightings).

    Talented lodge staff put on a song and dance performance at the boma fire, which adds an element of tradition and culture to your safari experience at Ghoha Hills. Enjoy a 3-course dinner and your last night in Savuti.

  • DAY 6: & Transfer to Chobe National Park - Sunset drive in Chobe with sundowners

    Wake up at Ghoha Hills and enjoy a scrumptious and filling breakfast before boarding the game viewer and heading for your third and final destination in Chobe National Park.

    The drive from Ghoha Hills to Chobe Riverfront takes a sight-seeing drive through the park. Enjoy the view and refreshments along the way until you arrive at your second luxury mobile campsite in another of Botswana’s pristine wildlife areas.

    Settle in to your Meru-style tent as you arrive at your Chobe campsite and enjoy a bite to eat before setting out on a sunset game drive along the Chobe River. Return to the lodge and while away the evening before dinner and bed under canvas.

  • DAY 7: & Morning game drive - Afternoon game drive with sundowners

    Wake up call at 05h30 with strong coffee and a light breakfast before boarding the Land Cruiser and heading out for your first morning game drive in this famous safari destination.

    Enjoy the sights and sounds of Chobe – a very special place on the border of Botswana and Namibia, where wildlife and birdlife abounds. After a +-3 hour game drive, return to camp for brunch followed by time to shower and relax.

    At 15h00 high tea is served before game drive departs, and at 16h00 you set out for an afternoon cruise, absorbing this natural paradise in Botswana. Back to camp for dinner, campfire chatter, and bed in your luxury tent.

  • DAY 8: & Morning game drive - Afternoon game drive with sundowners

    This morning is the beginning of your second full day Chobe and begins the same way with an early wake up call, followed by coffee, and a game drive for +-3 hours.

    Return to camp for brunch and then indulge in a little siesta time under the shade of the lounge gazebo, or in your spacious tent. By 15h00 it’s time for tea and a snack before afternoon game drive commences at 16h00.

    By sunset, you’ll return to camp after a fantastic afternoon safari and enjoy relaxing around the campfire before dinner is announced and served by the chef in the dining tent.

    After dinner, it’s time for bed in your tent for the last night in the bush.

  • DAY 9: & Transfer to Kasane Airport

    Wake up in the Botswana wilderness for the last time after 8 nights exploring some of the best places it has to offer. Today’s transfer takes guests through Chobe for a last bit of game viewing, and in to Kasane airport to connect with departing flight.
